Ewan J Wright – Head of Assets at Axis Animation
“Kjartan was a pleasure to work with and had no problem tackling any task that we asked him to take on. His technical knowledge and artistic ability were of a very high level and I would have no hesitation in recommending him for any future projects!”
Aurelien Hulot – Lead Assets at Axis Animation
“Working with Kjartan was truly a pleasure, he is a very talented artist and a great technician. His knowledge on multiple softwares and his faculty to adapt to different kind of graphic styles were really appreciated in Axis. He managed to pick-up quickly the pipeline and our expectations despite the short timing and fast pace of production. He was also a great support by sharing and helping the newcomers in the team.”
Stevie Gill – Environment Artist at Axis Animation
“I had the pleasure of working with Kjartan as a fellow environment artist at Axis Animations for a period of four months. During this time we worked on two projects together, as part of a larger production team.
He was personable, polite and easy to work with. As well as completing high quality work himself, Kjartan was able to offer his perspective and constructive support to other members of the team. I personally found this very useful.
He has a broad skill set in terms of CG, and is confident in his abilities when it comes to modelling, texturing and shading. At Axis, he was quick to adapt these skills to the required style of the work, which meant he could produce renders that fulfilled the brief sooner and more effectively. He was comfortable working to established workflows whilst being flexible enough to think outside the box to increase efficiency and overall quality.
The quality of his work speaks for itself, but on a personal level Kjartan is a great guy to work with, very talented and valuable in a production environment.”
